West Sands Adoptions Builds a School

SCHOOL NEARS COMPLETION

As of January 2013, construction of the school funded by West Sands Adoptions is almost complete. It is hard for us to believe that 2 years has passed, and our first school is almost completed. We look forward to seeing these classrooms filled with children, and to watch them grow and proper into amazing citizens of this beautiful country. It is our hope that this school will enhance the future of 200 children’s lives each year. Many thanks to Woudneh Mulugeta for all his hard work, and Dedication. Woudneh’s heart for the children of Ethiopia can be witnessed again on the grounds of this new school.
West Sands Adoptions is committed to engage in Humanitarian Aid Projects in Ethiopia. Currently our commitment to this amazing country is the construction of this new school. If you are adopting from Ethiopia through West Sands Adoptions, a portion of your adoption foreign fee is also used for humanitarian efforts in Ethiopia. Together West Sands Adoptions and Adoptive Families have, and will continue, to support the local communities in Ethiopia. If you adopted from Ethiopia in 2011 or 2012, you contributed to the commencement of this school. In 2013 West Sands Adoptions will begin a new humanitarian project in Ethiopia. If you are interested in supporting this school further with West Sands Adoptions, school supplies, computers and other items are needed. Thank you!
At your request, West Sands Adoptions will gladly make available the following information: (a) the number of our adoption placements per year for the prior three calendar years, and the number and percentage of those placements that remain intact, are disrupted, or have been dissolved as of the time the information is provided; and (b) the number of parents who apply to adopt on a yearly basis, based on the last three calendar years. West Sands Adoptions places “Waiting Children” through China’s program of adoption for special needs and waiting children. However, we do not have our own list of waiting children at this time. Parents who apply for adoption through programs with West Sands Adoptions will not be referred a child for placement until a child becomes available through the appropriate Central Authority in the child’s country of origin.
