Our beliefs

Over 15 years ago West Sands Adoptions, a licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit child placing agency in Utah, was established with the following core beliefs: We are all children of a kind and loving Heavenly Father and every orphaned child deserves a loving family through the gift of adoption. We believe that loving families include a mother and father, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, cousins and grandparents. We believe every child needs to be loved, cherished, and well cared for.

We believe that loving families have the right to bless the lives of orphaned children and to increase or complete their families through adoption. We believe West Sands Adoptions has the responsibility to provide extremely reliable and very high quality adoption services to families at the lowest possible cost. We believe that adopting a child should be a very positive and happy experience.

Our staff

We would like to introduce you to our amazing staff here at West Sands Adoptions!

Kent Parke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Executive Director of West Sands Adoptions, with over 30 years of experience in adoption. He oversees every aspect of our agency and ensures that every child being placed and every family adopting has a positive and rewarding experience.

 

Lynn Parke graduated in Social Work and is our Associate Director. Working alongside her husband, she has seen and been involved in all aspects of adoption. She ensures that each family feels welcome and hopes the families feel the love for each child and family that West Sands helps unite.

 

 

Sheila Hunter is our Ethiopia Program Director. Sheila will become a great friend while helping your family with the court process, and bringing your child home. Having great knowledge of the entire Ethiopia Program she can connect with families and their progress. She truly has unconditional love for the Ethiopian children.

 

 

Trina Parke is our China Program Director and Hague Coordinator. Trina will be by your side from start to finish with the China Program. She is very dedicated to the China and Special Needs Programs. She works closely with USCIS and is a specialist in immigration. She loves working with our amazing families helping them complete the adoption process.

 

 

 

Koni McGregor is one of our Program Coordinators. She will assist you through the process after your Dossier has been sent to the country you are adopting from. She will be here to answer all of your questions during your wait and will assist you with updating paperwork if needed. She will provide guidance throughout your entire adoption process.  Koni loves the children and knowing she helps children find their forever families gives her great joy!

 

 

Jennifer Wood is our Dossier and Homestudy Coordinator. She will be helping you from the very beginning and throughout your entire Homestudy and Dossier process. Jennifer will assist you with preparation of  all your documents and will personally get them ready to send to the country you are adopting from. Jennifer will be a huge help with all those things you just don’t understand! Her work is accurate and very detail oriented.

 

 

Jenn Drysdale is our Administrative Assistant and Documents Coordinator. Jennifer will be your first contact with West Sands. She is very friendly and makes all families feel welcome. Working closely with the Ethiopia and China Programs she can answer many of your questions or find the answer for you. Her passion for helping complete families stems from her own experiences.

Our dedicated and professional staff members in China and Ethiopia are the very finest. Each staff member is trained to ensure that your child is getting the best care. The love they share for the children is multiplied when able to place the child in the arms of a family who will love and care for them.
